It’s a common situation – your business receives numerous pallets of stock every week, but unless the weather is kind to you and stays dry, you are left rushing to check off your goods in order to get them inside. During the summer months, this is rarely a problem, but during the winter, when we’re blessed with rain and snow, sheet wrapping around the pallets is not always the best line of defence against the weather.
Enter the Temporary Warehouse
Temporary warehouses come in a variety of different sizes, and can be erected anywhere you have room. So, if you have a large outside area where pallets of stock are often left until they are checked, you could easily erect a warehouse here to keep them dry. This will not only offer you more protection than the sheet wrap, but it will also keep your staff happier by providing them with more room to work whilst they check in goods.
Avoid Weather Damaged Stock
If you don’t have the funds to create a full extension on your business property, a temporary warehouse could be the ideal solution. Not only are they designed to be wind and waterproof, but they can also be dismantled when they are not needed. So, you really only need to pay for a temporary warehouse during the winter months when bad weather is expected. And, when you consider how much money you will save by avoiding damaged stock, you’ll see it’s more than worth the price.
